Methamphetamine is a powerfully addictive synthetic stimulant which triggers the release of specific brain chemicals, causing a euphoric high. Known by numerous slang terms, its overwhelmingly addictive nature has seen it cut a swathe through all socio-economic boundaries, making it one of the major issues facing all employers and the community as a whole.
This course provides the student with an in-depth understanding of Methamphetamine, its history, the effects on the user, signs and indicators of abuse and advice about how to keep safe.
The curriculum includes video presentations, written explanations, course assessment, drug and alcohol policy example and student certification. The student is able to track their progress at all times.
Your Instructor
In my previous life I was a Police Detective who specialised in investigating drug dealing and manufacture. Since 2007 I have provided workplace and community training to thousands of students helping to create awareness about drugs and help people make great decisions for themselves, their workplace and their communities.
