This course provides the student with an in-depth understanding of Methamphetamine, its history, the effects on the user, signs and indicators of abuse and advice about how to keep safe.

Furthermore it includes information regarding the manufacture of Methamphetamine using Clandestine laboratories (Clan Labs) in our communities. These labs pose a particular risk to employees who are required to attend private homes, motels and hotels, holiday accomodation etc as part of their jobs. The course provides the student with all the necessary knowledge to identify signs of a lab and to be able to make safe decisions for themselves and others.


The curriculum includes video presentations, written explanations, course assessment, drug and alcohol policy example and student certification. The student is able to track their progress at all times.
